Saifrood Aid Organization – Key Projects (2014–2026)

Saifrood Aid Organization (SAO) has implemented a wide range of humanitarian and development projects across Afghanistan from 2014 to 2026, focusing on emergency response, community development, livelihoods, education, health, and resilience‑building. Through strategic partnerships with international donors, UN agencies, and local stakeholders, SAO has delivered timely, impactful, and community‑driven assistance to vulnerable and crisis‑affected populations.

Emergency Flood Relief and Cash Assistance in Ghor Province

Funded by: CISU

In response to severe flooding in Ghor Province, SAO delivered emergency cash assistance to 200 vulnerable households. The project helped families meet urgent needs such as food, safe water, and essential household items, reducing immediate hardship and supporting early recovery.

Staff Capacity Building and Environmental Initiatives in Firozkoh

Supported by: Afghanaid

SAO partnered with Afghanaid to strengthen institutional capacity and promote environmental sustainability in Firozkoh. Activities included staff training on project management and community engagement, alongside initiatives promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental protection.

Greenhouse Distribution and Livestock Stable Rehabilitation

Funded by: UNDP Afghanistan

To enhance food security and rural livelihoods, SAO distributed 300 greenhouses and rehabilitated livestock stables for 300 households. This project enabled beneficiary families to grow vegetables, improve livestock management, increase household income, and strengthen resilience.

Assistance to Internally Displaced Households
